LWW monitoring visit at Parnitha National Park in Greece
Earlier this April, a two-day monitoring visit of the LIFE WILD WOLF project was held at Parnitha National Park in Greece, bringing together all project partners and a representative from the European Commission.
On the first day, participants gathered for a technical meeting to discuss progress, challenges, and next steps.
On the second day, the group visited Mount Parnitha, where they had the opportunity to see first-hand the fieldwork being carried out under the LIFE WILD WOLF project.
This visit was an important opportunity to showcase the project's efforts in promoting coexistence between humans and wolves in peri-urban environments like Parnitha, while exchanging valuable insights with all stakeholders involved.
Together, we’re working towards smarter, science-based solutions that protect biodiversity and foster harmonious coexistence.
