LIFE Wild Wolf at LECA Project Final Conference

The previous month, the LECA Project’s Final Conference brought together nearly 150 experts from across Europe to exchange knowledge and experiences on large carnivore conservation.

LIFE Wild Wolf was proud to participate in the event, presenting its key activities, achieved results, and plans for the final year of the project. The conference focused on crucial topics such as monitoring large carnivore populations, reducing human–wildlife conflicts, and combating wildlife crime.

The discussions highlighted the importance of cross-border cooperation, as large carnivores move freely across national boundaries. The event also fostered valuable connections and ideas that will contribute to ongoing and future conservation efforts.

Participation in the LECA Final Conference has further strengthened our commitment and has already built anticipation for the LIFE Wild Wolf final conference, which will take place in the Czech Republic in June 2027.
